Hong Kong Tours
Each of the four walking tours takes about six hours and cost US$260. The Hong Kong Tram Tour takes about three hours and costs US$150. Tours are payable at the end of the tour in US dollar cash. This is the cost of one entire tour, not the per-person cost. Credit card payment is also possible (please let us know in advance if you intend to pay by credit card). Transport to and from the tours, drinks and snacks along the way, and entrance fees are not included in this price (these costs are usually minimal). Note that the guide will join you for lunch and we ask that you pay for the guide’s lunch. Again, this cost is usually minimal.
Please note that, except for Tour #5 (the Tram Tour), these are walking tours. Please let us know if you will find it difficult to walk for six hours. We can, of course, use taxis and public transportation and make other allowances for those whose mobility might be impaired, but we must know in advance.
We welcome children and feel that the tours are suitable for those ages five and up.
Up to six people can join a tour for the standard price. However, we ask that you do not add members to your group without informing us in advance. The guide reserves the right to cancel the tour if unexpected members arrive without prior notification. We can normally take up to 10 people on a tour, but there is a US$50 surcharge per person for each person over six.
Your guide will be happy to make some changes to the walking tour routes on the day of the tour. We will also consider making limited changes to our standard tours in advance. However, custom tours that require extensive planning and research, we charge a custom tour fee: see following section.
Macau Tour
The Macau tour takes about 10.5 hours door-to-door and costs US$380 for groups of up to six people, payable at the end of the tour in US dollar cash. This is the cost of one entire tour, not the per-person cost. Credit card payment is also possible (please let us know in advance if you intend to pay by credit card). This fee does not include transport to/from hotel to Macau Ferry Terminal, return economy-class Turbojet ticket, transport in Macau (taxis), lunch or entry fees. These extras may average about US$80 per person. Note that the guide will join you for lunch and we ask that you pay for the guide’s lunch.
Custom Tours
A six-hour custom tour costs US$350, payable at the end of the tour in US dollar cash. This is the cost of the entire tour, not the per-person cost. Credit card payment is also possible (please let us know in advance if you intend to pay by credit card). Transport to and from the tour, drinks and snacks along the way, and entrance fees are not included in this price (these costs are usually minimal). Note that the guide will join you for lunch and we ask that you pay for the guide’s lunch. Again, this cost is usually minimal.
Consulting
Consultation is available at the rate of US$100 per hour. Payment is by credit card.
