We were stuck at Tung Chung and took a quick decision to visit a leisure residential area where there are lots of expatriates, Discovery Bay within 20 minutes by bus. This high-end area were flocked of local visitors near the pier alfresco dining area but we managed to take a quick lunch at a Kebab upstairs eatery. Moving along the hidden coastline we found the way to head to Mui Wo.
It was quite harsh when I had to walk uphill after an hour, but the view on the top of the mountain was stunning. I'd rather prefer the steps going to the Muiwo long beach quickly to get a fresh cold coke at HK$10. The whole hiking trip lasted for 4 hours though it stated it was good for "beginners". Please do remember to start at Discovery Bay.
